What To Expect

Laying the foundation

Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care . . .

Dr. Patient Consultation

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 3-4 times per week for 4-12 weeks. This is where the Testing begins: Insight Subluxation station will be used to assess your nervous system. Using electromyography, we can help us determine the level and the extent of how subluxation may be affecting your spine.

Then it’s a complete posture assessment using state of the art 3D model analysis our clinic can assess your spine and present you with a posture number. Since posture is a “window” to your spine by assessing the posture it allows us to determine the stress loads on the spine.

Finally your X-rays. This allows us to measure your films using state of the art technique to determine the level of degeneration and the extent of the subluxation.

Phase 1: Relief Care

If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 3-4 times per week for 4-12 weeks.

Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care

During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care from 12 months to 5 years depending on your overall health and the degeneration of your spine and the severity of your problem.

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Once your spine and body have been corrected to their optimal position, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.

DAY 1: Your Examination

You Can Expect that your First Visit will be very thorough. Just as you would want a specialist to evaluate your home before a big project, your chiropractor will do a thorough “Subluxation” examination. At Eade Family Chiropractic we are specialist at identifying spinal misalignments! The doctor will be looking to evaluate your entire spine not just one area. Dr. Eade will evaluate your films, your scans, history, and testing to determine the location and extent of subluxations. Should he determine that you do have subluxation you will be scheduled for two follow up reports.

DAY 2: Your Problem Report:

Should Dr. Dave determine that you do have Subluxation and accept your case, you will receive your first adjustment on this day!

DAY 3: Your Solution Report

The solution report is where we evalute your body’s response to the adjustment, review our “Best” recommendations for correcting what we found and then providing you with our most cost effective programs for subluxation correction. Remember, many people will see every other specialist before they see us. Many medical physicians are unaware of what we do as Chiropractic vertebral subluxation specialist. This is where life changing correction begins!!!
